The First Spark

Francesco, Oripan’s CEO, starts out as a courier for his uncle, a raw materials retailer. In his spare time, he begins repairing bakery machines in a small garage. This passion marks the beginning of something bigger—and it’s also when he meets Orietta.

1989

Oripan is Born

On January 1st, Oripan s.n.c. is officially founded, specializing in the repair of bakery machinery. From humble garage beginnings, the company moves into its first real headquarters. Francesco’s brother, Guerrino, joins the team, while Orietta takes charge of accounting and administration as she continues her studies.

2000

The Digital Leap

Recognizing the untapped potential of digital technologies in the bakery sector, Oripan embarks on a bold new chapter—shifting from machinery repair to software development. The first product, Visualpan, is launched to automate fresh bread distribution using Touch Towers. It’s a time of intense growth, with major investments in marketing and trade fairs.

Market Leadership

Oripan becomes the leading provider of automated bread distribution systems in the Italian market.

2014-15

Merging Innovation

A strategic merger with Sancassiano Elettronica gives rise to a new organizational structure: two dedicated divisions—IT and Automation.

2016

From Artisan to Industry

The launch of OFS marks Oripan’s transition from the artisanal world to the industrial sector, with advanced solutions for bakery integration, digitalization and conrol.

2019

The Confederation Grows

Technology Unlimited joins the confederation alongside Sancassiano. OFS becomes Technology Unlimited Recipe Control Software, further expanding its capabilities.
